- Lay Speaker – UMC
- I preach, usually a couple Sundays a month, at Point Pleasant UMC and New Philadelphia UMC, Hills Grove UMC, and elsewhere.
- Youth For Christ of Western Illinois board member and treasurer.
- Member of the Great River Walk to Emmaus community and Macomb’s Walk to Emmaus men’s reunion group.

- Teacher Education Committee (through 2026)
- Math Olympiad at the Macomb Middle School (MMS) (We started Math Olympiad in Fall 2023).
- Treasurer of the UPAAHA, our neighborhood association.
